Mr. Banning owns and operates Seacoast Communities, LLC. a real estate development company with offices in Rehoboth Beach, De and Charleston, SC . With more than 17years’ experience covering all phases of real estate development, property management and construction, Rick has successfully developed, built and managed single family homes, commercial projects, residential sub-divisions, and multi-family apartment communities. Rick manages all aspects of projects including feasibility, funding analysis, concept design, site approvals, engineering, site work and building construction. Mr. Banning is a principle owner and managing member of nearly $100 million in multifamily assets with ownership interest in another $35 million in assets.
Additionally, Mr. Banning is co-owner of Seacoast Community Management, a full service property management company which manages internal and 3rd party multifamily assets.
Coupled with extensive knowledge of real estate and development, Mr. Banning holds hisMaster’s Degree in Business Administration, Wilmington University, Bachelor’s Degree, Wesley College, and Associate Degree, Delaware Technical and Community College. Mr. Banning holds a Delaware Real Estate license and a member of several associations including Vice President of the Delaware Home Builders Association, member National Association of Realtors and National Apartment Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Jim also serves as a local partner and project development manager for Sidewalk Development, LLC an established real estate development company specializing in university town multi-family mixed use projects. He currently serves as a board member of Uptown Greenville – a non profit designed to
develop plans and implement actions to ensure revitalization in the business district. Jim also currently serves as 2017 Chairman of the University Neighborhood Association a non profit aimed at creating a more viable and sustainable neighborhood near East Carolina University and Uptown Greenville. Jim served as a board member on the Governor’s North Carolina Film Council, Boys and Girls Club of Pitt County and Greenville Rotary Club.
